If you enjoy camping, you’ll love staying with us! There are so many great spots at Thornton Beach Holiday Park to set up your tent or park your motor home. Enjoy the spectacular views and wake up to the sound of the waves rolling on to the shore.
*All campsites have power and water. Caravans requiring a connection to power must have a current warrant of fitness. Tents requiring power must have an approved isolating transformer or residual current device with a 10m lead. Tenters can hire the power adaptor needed for $15.00 per night but bookings are essential.

Our communal facilities are tidy and conveniently set-up. There is a fantastic BBQ area on site and some great recreational spots just outside the gates.
Standard Cabins
From $110 double / night
They are simple but comfortable, with plenty of sleeping space comprising a queen-size bed and a bunk bed in the same room. The Standard Cabin sleeps up to 4 people.
You will find a table & chairs in the cabin and there is a TV and a private deck to enjoy. You can use our communal facilities for toilets, showers, cooking. Bring own bedding & towels as well as cutlery, crockery & cooking utensils.

Tourist Flats
From $150 double / night
The recently renovated, self-contained Tourist Flats at Thornton Beach Holiday Park have two bedrooms and an open space lounge/kitchen/dining area for you to use. The furniture and beds are excellent quality, you will find comfort and everything you need for an enjoyable stay.
It’s the ideal choice of accommodation for couples travelling together or for a family of four. You have your own en-suite bathroom, a TV and there is a full kitchen for your convenience. The kitchen is fully equipped with a refrigerator, cook-top, pantry, toaster, kettle, microwave, cutlery and crockery. Dishcloths and tea towels are also provided. Everything you need to cook a nice meal is there for your convenience.
The master bedroom in the Tourist Flat has a queen size bed and the second bedroom has a set of bunks for comfortable sleeping. Pillows are provided but we do advise you to bring your own bedding, sheets and towels to use while staying in our Tourist Flat. If you prefer, we offer you the option to hire these items from our office. A Port-A-Cot and Highchair are free of charge for our littlest campers.
The Tourist Flats have a deck outside facing the ocean where you can enjoy a meal in the sun or have some drinks and nibbles while watching the fabulous colours of the sky when the sun goes down. Outdoor furniture is provided.

Park Motel Units
From $190 double / night
Our comfortable and spacious 2-storey Park Motel is a fantastic choice of accommodation for a great beach holiday with the family.
There is a nice deck in front of the Park Motel that faces the ocean for you to relax with some drinks and nibbles and to take in the spectacular views. Outdoor furniture is provided.
The views from the Park Motel are stunning as the unit is situated at a higher level than the campground itself. You look out to Whale Island and if you are up early enough, you can see the sun rise over the ocean in the most spectacular way.
The Park Motel is 2 bedroom, it features a queen-size bed and closet in the master bedroom downstairs. Another queen-size bed plus a single bed can be found in the bedroom upstairs. A Port-A-Cot and Highchair are free of charge for our littlest campers.
There is a modern, spacious bathroom with a great shower for you to enjoy. The unit is self contained and has full kitchen facilities. Enjoy comfort, convenience and that little bit of extra luxury!

Rooms: (2) 1 Queen Size Bedroom downstairs and 1 Queensize bed and single bed in another room upstairs. Total: 2 Park Motel Units.
